Butler begins its new season on the right foot.
With the Girls and Boys teams both winning their matches against Blackhawk at Family Bowlaway.
The Girls swept the match winning 7-0 and are 1-0 in section play.
Butler senior Makenzie Zimmerman led the girls with a 586 series and a 218 high game.
The Boys came back from a first game loss to win the second 2 games and the match 5-2 and are 1-0 in section play.
Butler senior Micah Potts led the boys with a 636 series and a high game of 274. And senior Greg Wilbert shot a 607 series with a high game of 243.
Butlers next match is Friday against Rochester.
