The Butler High School Golden Tornado boys and girls had a very good day defeating the Seneca Vally 7-0 in both matches winning the section points.

On Senior night, there were several senior stand out performances.

Senior Greg Wilbert led the boys with an incredible 767 series (262-226-279).  Senior Micah Potts followed with a 624 series (226-211-187).

The boys are now 6-2 and in second place behind New Castle.

For the Tornado girls senior Makenzie Zimmerman led the way with a 617 series (201-215-201). Junior Kaylee Kniess fired a 535 series (193-156-186).

With the win last night, the girls locked up the section win and will now look forward to the playoffs and qualified for the Western Pa Regional Championships.

Butlers next match will be Friday night against Beaver Falls at Sims lanes.
