The Butler High School Boys and Girls Bowling teams completed a 10-0 regular season following a sweep of North Allegheny Wednesday ( February 5th ) at Perry Park Lanes.

The Butler Boys won 5-2 to clinch the WPIBL North Section. Chris Huff (senior) led all bowlers with a 641 series and high games of 235 & 257. Rocco Rice (freshman) added a 605 series and high game of 226.  Nathan Kniess (senior) had a high game of 214 and Brock Hepler (sophomore) had a high game of 211.

The Butler Girls won 7-0 and were led by Harley Kriess (sophomore) who rolled a 630 series with a high game of 234. Reegan Malis (junior) added a 554 series with a high game of 205. Madison Weiland (sophomore) had a 532 series with a high game of 202.

Both Butler teams move on to the WPIBL Team Championships next week, and by winning their section, are guaranteed spots in the Pennsylvania Western Regional Championships in March. 

Six of the Butler Girls and four of the Boys have qualified for the WPIBL Singles Championships in two weeks.
